Established in 1994, Beatink Inc Japan successfully houses events, production and promotion companies, physical and digital distribution services, merchandise and, at its centre, a record label.

Beat Records is the exclusive Japanese licensee and distributor for some of the world's most forward-thinking independent labels including AWAL, Beggars group (4AD, Matador Records, Rough Trade Records, XL Recordings and Young), Brainfeeder, Brownswood Recordings, The Domino Recording Company, Hyperdub Records, Late Night Tales, Ninja Tune, On-U Sound, Pressure Sounds, Tru Thoughts Recordings, and Warp Records amongst others.  

Beatink Japan has a strong reputation for programming and producing some of Japan's most respected electronic music events, ranging from the large-scale Electraglide and SonarSound Tokyo to annual Brainfeeder and On-U Sound nights. Artists that we have long-term touring relationships with include Adrian Sherwood, Autechre, Battles, Black Midi, Bonobo, Brian Eno, Louis Cole, The Cinematic Orchestra, Flying Lotus, Oneohtrix Point Never, Squarepusher, Thundercat and many more.

Beatink UK and Beatink US focus primarily on international artist management and exclusively represent Brian Eno, Roger Eno, Oneohtrix Point Never and Adrian Sherwood throughout the world.

We also oversee artist recordings, live performances and art installations for Brian Eno, which have included major presentations at the Sydney Opera House, Brighton Festival and Ambient Kyoto.
